Steps to Becoming a HomeWell Care Services Franchisee

Becoming a HomeWell Care Services franchisee is the start of a rewarding business experience where you’ll lead with compassion. Before you get started, it might be a good idea to consider the steps it takes to become a franchise owner. We’re committed to being transparent during our discovery process, so we’ve broken down the process into four easy steps.

Reach out to us or request a Franchise Kit to get more information on HomeWell and our mission to provide trusted care with true compassion. However you reach out to us, we’ll give you a full overview of what you can expect as one of our franchisees. You’ll learn whether you have the caring heart, effective communication skills and self-dedication for home care services. Plus, we’ll give you some of the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day work and what you can look forward to with our Franchise Services Department.

Get in touch with a franchise development representative for valuable information about our franchising model, investment options and what the support process will look like throughout your life cycle of business ownership. The experts who run our Franchise Services Department have seen people like you — and others who may come from quite different backgrounds — succeed in their home care services businesses. Their next goal? Helping you discover what this opportunity can do for you and determining the best way forward for everyone’s benefit.

Communicate with HomeWell Franchise Owners across our network, and see firsthand what it’s like to operate a HomeWell agency. We can talk to you for days about what your experience with HomeWell might be like, but there’s no better way to learn than experiencing it for yourself.

Our franchisees are always happy to welcome new people into our network, especially if they can offer guidance as you undertake a similar path they’ve already gone through. We pride ourselves on our franchise community and the support we offer, from the newest HomeWell Franchise Owner up to the people who started it all. We’ll take you through a day in the life and prepare to talk through any concerns that have you on the fence about whether to proceed.

Once you speak to our Executive Leadership Team, all that’s left is to sign your franchise agreements and make the first moves toward business ownership. From there, we immediately start the process to assist you in opening your agency.

As soon as we strike our deal, we’ll set you up with a training regimen. As a franchisee, you get the advantage of starting your own business with the support of an established brand. We have the experience it takes to build up a company that delivers results, and we’ll share all those trade secrets with you as you navigate setting up your business, hiring new staff, creating marketing materials and much more.

From preparation through the launch phase and long after that, our Franchise Business Coaches (FBCs) will be right by your side any time you need us.

6 Ways to Prepare for Your Launch

Going to Opening Services is just the start of getting your franchise off the ground. Before opening day, you’ll need to:

  1. Make sure you’re committed: Being a franchise owner is exciting and rewarding, but at the end of the day, it involves a lot of work. Be sure you’re ready to do what it takes to be successful and that you can work within the guidelines set forth by HomeWell.
  2. Do your research: While healthcare knowledge isn’t required to run a successful HomeWell franchise, you should have a solid understanding of the franchising model. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) offers an excellent consumer guide to get you started.
  3. Complete the paperwork: The application process does feature a fair amount of paperwork. Like any employer, we like to have a handle on your resume. Furthermore, you’ll have to go through the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) franchise documents, a collection of 23 items that make up much of the information you need when opening your franchise.
  4. Develop a business plan: Investors and lenders like to see a solid plan for your franchise before they invest in you. Try to include both the best- and worst-case scenarios to show you’ve planned for it all.
  5. Apply for financing: Like any business, this franchise involves capital . Explore item seven in your franchise disclosure documents (FDD) for a better idea of the funds you’ll need.
  6. Participate in training: HomeWell provides you with all the training you’ll need to understand the financial, social and practical aspects of running a franchise.

    Testimonials

    Josh Frommer

HomeWell continuously adds value to my business. They provide professional brochures and training programs, help their owns stay abreast of current trends, know how to incorporate technology into processes, provide good recommendations for partnering with other industry vendors, hold an annual Conference with key brand and industry information, and facilitates access to other franchisees for knowledge sharing.

    Tracie Dominguez

I have never owned a business and know my weaknesses. I wanted the support of a proven business formula. Why reinvent the wheel when it’s been done?

Tracie Dominguez HomeWell Franchisee in Colorado Springs, Colorado

    Frank Davis

We recognized the value of a system that is already working and where processes are already developed.  We can leverage the expertise of the franchisor in areas to complement our strengths.  We also see a lot of value in the network of fellow franchisees for sharing of best practices.

    Kevin Walters

HomeWell, simply put, seems to do it the right way. From the focus of assessments, to the tools in place, the leadership in the Corporate Office and the existing franchise owners — this is an organization set up for success. I want to help build on that success!

    Josh Frommer

The HomeWell franchise community is a great group of people that have open discussion, work to help one another, and maintain a healthy amount of friendly competition. I am glad to be a part of this group.

    Elysa Coleman

The biggest factor for us in choosing to do a franchise instead of launching a business on our own was really the wealth of knowledge HomeWell provides. We could have gone the route of figuring everything out on our own, but we decided that the training, support, and knowledge the HomeWell team provides was worth the investment.

Elysa Coleman HomeWell Franchisee in Cypress, Texas

    Mark Fratto

I was reluctant to join a franchise, but what drew me to HomeWell was their family feel; it wasn’t a corporate feel. HomeWell provides us with direction and gives us what we need but also gives us the freedom to do what we feel is best for our franchises.

Mark Fratto HomeWell Franchisee in Beverly Farms, Massachusetts

The environment feels nothing like corporate America. It truly feels like a team, as we all rely on each other—the owners, the corporate office—everyone.

Susie Lerma HomeWell Franchisee in Crossville, Tennessee

    Vaishali Nileshwar

I chose HomeWell because I wanted to grow alongside a “growing company”. The HomeWell team is easy to work with and is so invested in my success. The enthusiasm is infectious! After talking to several other companies, I also believe the processes in place.
